Minister Nara Lokesh announced that the Andhra Pradesh government's prestigious schemes, "Thalliki Vandana" and "Annadata Sukhibhava," will be implemented soon. Under the Thalliki Vandana scheme, each mother will receive Rs. 15,000, and under Annadata Sukhibhava, farmers will be provided Rs. 20,000. He made this announcement in the Legislative Council. He clarified that these schemes will be delivered to the beneficiaries in April and May. The government is designing policies to benefit every family, he added.
Lokesh emphasized that their goal is to implement every promise made to the people and to launch welfare schemes without any delay. Specifically, through the Thalliki Vandana scheme, financial assistance will be provided to women, and through Annadata Sukhibhava, the government aims to provide relief to farmers. He assured that the state government is giving high priority to farmers' welfare and will take all necessary actions to resolve their issues.
Lokesh criticized the previous government for not increasing pensions properly, offering only a meager Rs. 250 increase per year. He expressed confidence that the current TDP government will keep the promises made to the people.
